New summer pieces from Dime, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, customizable hats you need for the summer, and more!
Buckle up, today’s a big one. We’re diving straight into today’s newsletter with my favorite gear from the new Dime Summer ‘25 drop, a new pair of shoes I can’t stop wearing, the return of the madras patchwork, custom handloom hats that you need for the summer, a look at the upcoming shoes from Golf Le Fleur that are only $100, and more!
I’M SO BACK
At this point it’s pretty hard for me to avoid talking about Mephistos. I’ve been seeing them in person more often, I’ve been writing about them, but I never had a proper chance to actually try some. Until now. Recently picked up a pair of the Mephisto Match in the all black leather, and I can’t begin to express how upset I am at myself for not pick these up sooner. They have a bunch of great color options available, but the all black leather is just too good to pass on. Insane comfort straight out of the box, with lots of foot room to play with, these instantly became my daily drivers the moment I put my feet in them.

Size down on these by at least a full size. Mephisto might say they run true to size on the website, but honestly it’s a good rule of thumb to always go a size down on any model of their shoes. They run large! Blown out logo patch on the front is also a huge mood that I’m into—people, we have to start popping those tongues out this summer!
DIME SUMMER ‘25
I’m really excited about this next one. The new Dime Summer collection is almost here, bring us a bunch of great new gear that’s dropping this upcoming Saturday, June 14th, via the Dime website. Anyway, the collection is large and it’s great, but I’m not going to go through all of that right now, instead I wanted to highlight some of my favorite pieces instead.
Jerseys are a Dime staple at this point, and rightfully so because they’re continuing to pump out designs that you want to continue adding to your wardrobe. The hooded ombre jacket is definitely more of a staple piece, but paired the right pair of darker bottoms should do the trick nicely. The real heavy hitter for me has to be the Metal Gear Solid Tee though. I love a good gaming reference, and they nailed it with this one.
Last but not least, you need this ceramic incense holder. A cute multipurpose object that enhances your daily surrounds? I’m down. Would be surprised if this one sat in the store for long, so don’t sleep on this one!
CUSTOM HATS FOR THE DOME
Story mfg. recently dropped a bunch of hand loomed cotton hats that you’re able to customize with your own appliqué hand-stitched lettering. Comes in a variety of colorful fabrics, the hat is also adjustable in size, and will be perfect for anyone looking for something more breathable this summer. Available on the Story mfg. website here.

SPEAKING OF HATS
A couple of embroidery heavy hitters from Quiet Mountain will be restocking today, June 13th via the Quiet Mountain website here. There will also be some logo tees as well, but my eyes are on the hats. For those who don’t know, Quiet Mountain Cafe is a community that revolves around coffee, being outside, some music and just a general sense of well being. Love their logo, which reminds of old ones from the 90s.
MAXIMALISM IS BACK
I’ve really been feeling louder pieces recently. I’m talking about big logos and graphics—when it’s executed well, it actually looks very good. Of course this is where your personal style comes in because the execution is important. Anyway, in the case of Palace’s upcoming drop, I think they have a bunch of gear that does that job well. After all, it’s summer, and it’s fun to go the complete opposite route of what you might have been wearing a few months ago.
I’ve been really into the idea of grabbing some patterned basketball shorts. It’s easy to go with the louder approach here, then you can simplify things by paired them with a basic tee or shirt with no print. The 1 Truth shorts will also be dropping in two additional colors. Polos are giving Polo, which I am not complaining about. This is one of those pieces built for your next vacation, or to simply hang out with the homies outside.
All of the above will be dropping on the Palace website later today, Friday 13th, at 11 am EST.
PATCHWORK WITH PUNKANDYO
I’m a sucker for patchwork and I’ve been loving all the madras ones popping up as of late. New goods from P&Y just landed on their site here, which has their own madras zip-up and shorts—my personal favorite piece from the drop, they also have big sizes available. We’re talking waist size 40! Really sick to see—as well as some very affordable hat options for the summer.
ELITE SWEATS
If you’re looking for high quality hoodies and sweats that last, have a relaxed fit, and are just a blast to wear, then you’ve come to the right place. Cease is about to drop hoodies and zip-ups in a bunch of great colors today via their website, June 13th at 12 PM EST.
I will say that their cotton shrinks after the wash, so be wary of the shrinkage! Maybe size up if you’re someone who washes their hoodies often. I have a bunch of their sweats and at this point I have nothing but great things to say. Extremely comfortable, and has a nice weight to them which I like. Their stuff also sells out pretty quick, so I wanted to make sure you got the intel first before it’s too late. I believe the hoodies will also come in both black and grey colorways.
A NEW ONE FROM GOLF LE FLEUR*
Tyler is back with a new sneaker for the summer. Diving deep into the Converse archive to launch the 1908 Jogger, which fits perfectly with the current thin midsole trend you might have been seeing. You can expect a very sleek yet lightweight design that will be just right for your next weekend hang. Currently, these are expected to drop on June 20th, via the Converse website here—oh, and for only $100, these are one of the most affordable options that fits that current sneaker trend we’ve been seeing.
I've been seeing Mephistos a ton around NYC recently since you started posting about them. I definitely need to grab a pair soon, especially with secondhand pairs still being pretty cheap.
