Did you get hit with any duties? Prices are USD as well right? It is kinda tempting but just wanted to set my expectations straight hahaha

No duties on my end. But I’m not sure if that’s just a Canada thing. I usually never get hit with any duties whenever I buy stuff from South Korea.

for the first time in my life i am in a place where i don’t really want anything and the things i do want i can probably either make myself or will wait until i know how to make it because it doesn’t yet exist

honestly my only want is some chocolate suede horsebit loafers to wear with some really baggy indigo jeans

Honestly that’s a great place to be… your wallet will thank you.

If you only have that one big purchase on your mind you should definitely splurge if you can, and just get the highest quality that will last you a lifetime

yeah it’s way cheaper to make stuff than to buy it, saves a lot to not have to pay yourself for your own labour. also at least for me if it doesn’t end up being what i want i feel better about it because i can only blame myself

i was looking into horatio loafers i like that shape and was happy with my old pair, just need to get them soled if i do cop

The only expensive clothes that are worth it are the ones that are locally made, using high quality fabrics and methods. Everything else is just marketing.
