“Hey, when did you get in?” or ”when are you leaving?” were probably the most common questions someone might have overheard if they happened to find themselves in Paris during this past Men's Fashion Week. I’m not sure why that was the entry point to a lot of conversations, but I’m officially boycotting those questions for next season.

Jokes aside, it was a great week filled with events hosted by brands, dinners with friends, catching up with people you haven’t seen in a while, but most importantly, there were an abundance of amazing clothes on display.

Casual chic felt like an obvious theme during the week—although that’s just how I describe it. While shirts were Everywhere, how one incorporated them within their outfit is what made looks unique and interesting.

A lot of showrooms, a lot of amazing clothes, a lot of great food, and more great content in today’s newsletter!

A lot of pleated shorts were seen flowing over the knees. Footwear was mostly light sneakers, with some leather oxfords and boots peeking through a variety of pants.

A key takeaway for me was that a lot of the garments were flowing. Fabrics that drape over the bodies in a much more freeing way dominated the streets of Paris—we’re talking a lot of linens and natural cottons. It was also 95+ degrees outside for a lot of the days, which didn’t give the people a lot of options. At that point it was just about survival, but somehow people were still able to squeeze in moments to look comfortably chic.

“EW”, said my friend over facetime recently when I told her that the men are letting the toes out this season. Flip flops was the latest trend that has taken menswear by storm. They were everywhere. Styled in various ways, from simple shorts to pairing them with selvedge denim to whatever else you might think of.

Listen, there’s nothing wrong with wearing them in appropriate moments in your life, like on the beach, or a tropical destination far away from the city. What I’m trying to say is having half an inch of foam separate your feet from the outside world, especially when you’re visiting a populous destination, is a risk I am not willing to take.

On top of that, I better start seeing the fellas flexing their pedicures before taping into the flip flop game in a fashionable way.

Also noticed a lot of vests being worn over tees. All types, from technical, military inspired styles, all the way to classic thin leather vests that would compliment outfits in a more incognito way. Casual chic.

I tried to go shopping because Paris usually has great options. I didn’t feel that though this time around. I don’t think the scorching heat mixed with a lack of air conditioning was the most optimal time for buying clothes. It also felt that a lot of stores were still trying to get rid of their fall gear from the past season. There was a lot of outerwear that was being sold, which at that current moment, was not relevant to my interests.

The Next Door was still by far my favorite place to shop at. Their accessories selection, which you can find on the second floor of the store, was filled with great smelling perfumes, stylish sunglasses, belts, house items, and other miscellaneous staples that you cant help but take take home with you.

Just some of the assortments from the Lady White Co. Spring/Summer ‘26 collection, including a new trainer with Moonstar Japan.

The Lady White Co. showroom never disappoints. I love how they’ve found the perfect balance between comfortable and presentable, creating styles that fit effortlessly into all types of lifestyles. The colors are always soft and lean into more earth tones, something I enjoy a lot.

They also showcased their newest footwear collaboration with Moonstar Japan, a lightweight trainer that may look simple at first glance, but is actually giving that quiet luxury feeling thanks to the high quality suede that was used for the upper. They also showcased their upcoming collection with Kaptain Sunshine that will be dropping soon. All in all, a lot of cool stuff coming out of Lady White Co. that I’m excited about

Colin Meredith Spring/Summer ‘26 features crinkled fabrics, great pants, and an overall casual vibe that’s rooted in performance.

Quick stop at Colin Meredith’s showroom to check out his newest collection. While still holding true to its technical roots, the clothes felt more inviting to people that might have never had a proper chance to dive into a more technical side with their wardrobe. Hooded jacket in green might be my favorite piece in the collection—shown in the top left in the image above—is an item I’ll definitely be picking up when it drops.

Post Archive Faction was another heavy hitter that didn’t disappoint this season. While still maintaining their more slimmer cuts and fits that focus on performance, they’ve also started to introduce way more suiting and tailoring for Spring/Summer ‘26, backing these ideas up by bringing in more oxfords and other leather footwear to the table.
