What's Dropping This Week
New spring/summer drops from Small Talk, BEAMS + Polo, Dime, and more!
We have a pretty juicy installment of What’s Dropping This Week. Lots of new spring/summer essentials dropping later this week, a couple of new collections to check out, and a mix of some future releases you should know about!
BEAMS + POLO
The legendary duo has returned with another collaboration, delivering us some gear designed for warmth. A little bit of playful branding never hurt anybody, but fan of the Polo Beat tee, an absolute classic. The collection comes equipped with tees, shorts, bags and more.
The collaboration is set to launch via the BEAMS website on April 26th. For the North Americans, I suggest checking the site at night on the 25th! Beams offers worldwide shipping via their website, remember that. Not too sure if this collaboration will be available outside of their online store though, so better not sleep on this one.
SMALL TALK SS24
Some more heat that I think is perfect for any person just trying to live life to the fullest. Small Talk is back with their newest collection for Spring/Summer and things are looking great. A lot of fun shirts that are perfect for the weekend or the office, mixed with bottoms that are ready for the summer.
Based on the last piece of intel I received, the collection is set to drop Wednesday, May 1st via their website, but that date might change so keep your eyes out their IG if in case anything changes!
DIME SPRING 24
Dime’s Spring ‘24 Drop 2 is just around the corner and there’s a bunch of heat you need to know about. A lot of the upcoming products have been teased on their Instagram, so make sure you peep that and stay tuned for the full range to drop in the coming days. Here is a sneak peek at some of my favorite items that are dropping later this week.
A lot of great stuff, but the standouts to me are the Trail Windbreaker (first row in the image above) and the pleated shorts. You’ve been asking me for some good pleated short recommendations and I think these will definitely do the trick. Belt loops are also a nice touch if you want to accessorize with a belt, but it’s not necessary thanks to the hidden elastic on the inside for easy waist adjustment.
The collection is big and there’s a lot to go through. Highly recommend keeping your eyes peeled for the drop on April 27th on the Dime website — also don’t forget to peep the new denim, graphic tees and accessories this drop!!
SUPREME 30th ANNIVERSARY T-SHIRT BOOK
Most likely the most hype drop of the week — at least for me because I love collecting anything related to fashion archives in physical format. Supreme is dropping a 30 Years: T-Shirts 1994-2024 in a three-volume book set, featuring every t-shirt Supreme has released since ‘94 — crazy!! I mean, I don’t think much else needs to be said here, but this archive is historic.
The t-shirt archive is sick, but I need this for outerwear… screw it give me the full archive of every piece they’ve ever dropped and I’ll buy that in a heartbeat. Hearing this drop is going to be somewhat limited, which is not ideal, so get ready to battle those bots when this drops this Thursday, April 25th on the Supreme website.
BARE KNUCKLES BASICS
A good basic set is essential to anyone’s wardrobe, but with so many options out there it really comes down to trial and error to figure out what works best for you — Bare Knuckles' upcoming Basics drop is pointing us in the right direction through relaxed fits that are designed with aging garments in mind.
Heavyweight garm enjoyers will be right at home here. The drop consists of a hoodie, sweatpants and t-shirts. Fit is more relaxed, so feel free to grab your true size on these garments — if you want an even more relaxed look feel free to size up though!
Finding a good simple tee is a lifelong battle, but I think that Bare Knuckles is about to put up a huge fight. The bound collar ensures a tight neck after wear and wash, which is perfect for me because I hate that loose collar on a t-shirt — this tee is also only $60, which in this economy of good quality tees, is a steal.
RONNING WORK JACKET V2
There’s still time to wear that one jacket you can only wear for a few weeks out of the year! Ok, jokes aside, there’s never an off-season when it comes to buying a nice little jacket. If you’re still on the hunt for that simple work jacket then you should probably have Ronning’s next drop marked down on your calendar.
Taking notes from the iconic Carhartt Detroit Jacket, Ronning’s version is available in washed sand & black colors, with a cropped cut at the body, double zipper and a quilted lining — pretty standard stuff for this type of jacket. No branding is a nice touch for those who want something clean and simple.
Both jackets will be available on the Ronning website on April 28th at 7PM GMT
NEW BALANCE + SHOE PALACE
Last but not least, I wanted to highlight a little spring footwear moment from Shoe Palace and New Balance. The “Volcanic Rocks” is a two-pack of 2002r which comes in two spring ready colorways — I think these would work well in a lifestyle and a sports setting, giving them that flexibility to wear them wherever.
I think New Balance has done a great job with the 2002r, and it should definitely be a shoe everyone should try once — it’s a very solid shoe that has a great level of comfort and comes in a variety of great colorways.
The Volcanic Rocks pack will drop exclusively at Shoe Palace website on April 26th for $150.
