What to buy this week
A look at what could be the collaboration of the year, a huge footwear banger with Body of Work and Mephisto, graphic tees for the summer, and more!
Another week, another fantastic opportunity to open up our wallets! In all seriousness, there is a lot of great gear out right now and more releases coming soon that you should know about. In today’s newsletter we’re taking a look at what could potentially be the collab of the year, a huge footwear heater from Body of Work and Mephisto, high level polos for the tall boys, a new brand I’ve stumbled upon recently, graphic tee bangers from Gramicci, and more as per usual!
LEVI’S + SACAI
I personally dislike when people say something is “the release of the year” when the year has barely even started. But I think in this case we can all agree that this next collaboration may well be one of the best of the year. Levi’s and Sacai had debuted their initial collaboration for SS25 during Paris Fashion Week just last year. Fast forward and we’re finally getting the global release on May 28th via Levi’s and Sacai websites.
Featuring deconstructed pieces, reversible jackets, and more. The overall execution of this collaboration is at such a high level that I’m hoping it will send ripple effects through the industry. Selfridges will have exclusive popup spaces where you can customize your pieces with custom metalwork and pins on May 26th—not entirely sure how long this popup will be up for so I would recommend acting fast. Packer will also have an exclusive event at Novado Gallery in Jersey City where you can purchase the collection as well as receive special gifts with each purchase on the same day.
BODY OF WORK + MEPHISTO
Beyond hyped for this one. I’m still very much obsessed with the last Body of Work shoe collaboration that they did with SaS, so you already know this one is getting purchased immediately. I will say, the quantities for this upcoming Mephisto collab are pretty limited so you cant sit around on this one for too long.
