Upcoming Releases You Should Know
Plus, handmade denim from Brooklyn, a brand you should know about, what makes a good hoodie, leather footwear, and more!
We have a packed newsletter this week, so I’m keeping the chitchat to a minimum and getting straight to business. We’ll be taking a look at a few upcoming releases that are worth knowing about, going to Brooklyn for some lightweight denim, what is the most important part of a hoodie to you? We’re also going to take a look at some new brands that I’m excited about right now, and a bunch of other stuff in between.
POP TRADING COMPANY AW23
Based out of Amsterdam, POP is a brand that I don’t see enough discussion about. Their upcoming SS24 collection, which I had the chance to see in person during the last PFW, is looking really promising. AW23 is already live on their website, but their second drop is just around the corner and is filled with a bunch of gear that will have you looking fresh for fall.
I’m not trying to be a party pooper, but I’m very much all eyes on outerwear right now. Sure, I have plenty of jackets but the heart wants new styles, so I’ll definitely be checking out the outerwear that’s dropping as part of POP’s second drop for AW23, which will be happening on their website this Saturday, September 9th.
Outerwear isn’t the only thing that will be dropping, so expect tops, pants, a few cardigans and some stuff in between!
A POTENTIAL FAVORITE
There are a lot of great brands out there, but recently I’ve been back and forth between Sunflower and let’s just say things are not looking too good for my wallet. In a recent letter titled, On A Search For New Pants, Sunflower ended up coming on top in my quest to find the hottest pant styles right now. Fast forward to now and I’m deep into their newest collection with nothing but hype.
At first it might not make sense what is so special here, but finding good quality timeless pieces is what drives us forward, and I believe that Sunflower has done a great job in giving a fresh look that focuses on quality throughout. I’d say my personal style is a good mix between streetwear and menswear, with days where I lean into one more than the other. This brand has reignited my menswear spark which is something that I haven’t really leaned into as much as I could have. Excited to dive back into it with more energy, and Sunflower is getting me there.
You can check out their recent collection via Lost & Found here.
