Umbro is back
Footwear for spring, good quality belts, upcoming collaborations from Umbro you need to know about, and more.
It looks like our wallets aren’t getting a break because the week is packed with releases. Umbro is going full speed with a bunch of collaborations that are just too hard to ignore, new spring footwear options are looking plentiful and I have the information you need so you don’t miss out. Plus, we have some belts on my list that you should be aware of, and some light outerwear that’s going to be perfect for spring.
I will keep the yapping to a minimum today to maximize the space because we have a lot to go through, so buckle up and let’s get right into it.
One note though is that I wanted to highlight today is the newsletter broke over 1 million views, and to me, that’s absolutely wild! I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has been reading, sharing, commenting and supporting — content is only going to get better from here so if you are a new reader make sure you subscribe to take advantage of the weekly content and many benefits that come with being a subscriber!!
UMBRO IS BACK
Let’s keep it real. Umbro has been always fire since the beginning of time, and saying that they are back isn’t necessarily true. The real reason behind their recent revival is that Umbro is celebrating 100 years this year, so expect even more heat from them this year. Enough of all that though, let’s dive into the upcoming Umbro collaborations on my watchlist.
The first drop I wanted to go through comes from Palace. I didn’t realize this but their last Umbro collab was back in 2022 — time really flies but we are back with another collaborative capsule with them that features too much heat that is making me reconsider my financial decisions. I’m not going to lie, get ready for a battle because based on what I’m seeing online it looks like everyone wants this one, so expect this collaboration to fly when it drops later this week.
It’s not every day I sit there and say damn, every single item from a collaboration is a hit, but here we are — I think what I really love in this collab is the ability to mix and match individual items together to create various fits. You can get the matching tracksuit, or grab the pants with a jersey or a crewneck, and so on.
The Palace + Umbro collaboration will drop on the Palace website this Friday, March 8th, at 11 am ET for all US shoppers, and at 12 pm CET for all EU shoppers.
Another heavy hitter from Umbro is in collaboration with Sedan All-Purpose. Featuring a track jacket and jersey, I do wish there was a matching set of pants to go along with this one, but it’s not the end of the world — maybe it’s for the best so we can save our money. The jacket is great, comes with a couple of drawstrings at the bottom that allow you to tighten the waist level. The jerseys are clean and come in two enjoyable colors — loving that little hint of the Opel logo.
The only downside here is that Sedan is a Japan-based company that currently doesn’t ship overseas… There are alternative ways you can get this with services like FromJapan, which will act as an affordable proxy service that will make the purchase for you and will ship directly to any address you need. All you need to do is just plug the link to the product and they will handle the rest — a very reliable and fast service that doesn’t cost a lot that I’ve been using for years. Highly recommend!
To all my Japan readers, the Sedan + Umbro collaboration will drop via the Sedan website on March 9th 12 PM Japan time.
If you don’t want to do all that, you’re in luck because I also have alternative shops that will have this collaboration that offers worldwide shipping.
