The Mini Pants Report™
Plus, a shoe release I've been waiting for, finding the ideal hoodie, technical outerwear I might have to acquire and more!
Sunday Scaries might be creeping in, but what better way to forget about all that than by indulging in a little end of the week shopping? This weekend was packed with a bunch of spring releases from some of my favorite brands, and it might feel overwhelming because it’s all happening at once so I decided to gather some of my picks to make your shopping experience a little bit easier.
In today’s newsletter, we have a new release from ROA that I’ve been waiting on, a mini pants report that has styles for everyone, some new technical heat from Haven you need to know about, hoodies that have the ideal hood size, and some stuff in between as usual!
ROA - NEW SEASON
This is starting to become the perfect time to finally shift out of your winter footwear and into some new spring styles. Some months ago I saw ROA tease new colorways of the Cingino that I was insanely hyped on and today they are finally out — there’s a brown hairy suede that is not looking good for my wallet. An all-black suede version would have hit me completely differently though.
I love my Cingino’s. Fit true to size, they are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I did find the specific ones I have felt a little bit stiffer due to the nylon upper — but honestly that upper gave me amazing protection from the cold this winter, so I'm not complaining. I’m definitely more interested in this season’s offerings though because that suede should break in really nicely which would give a lighter experience to the shoe.
They aren’t cheap, but I do believe this is a solid pair of shoes to invest in, especially if you’re someone who enjoys wearing the same shoe for a long time.
The ROA Cingino is available on their website here.
I WAS TOO SLOW
This season ROA also introduced the Fedaia, a mule with strong back support that focuses on traction. The only problem is I found out about these a little but too late because they already sold out in my size — luckily ROA has a pretty solid stockists selection, so scoring these in the future will hopefully not be too difficult.
