Enhance your at-home lounging experience
Sweatsuits on a budget, one-of-a-kind patchwork pieces, upcoming drops you should know about, and more!
It’s been a slow start to the month. If we’re being honest I’m still in holiday mode and with fashion week around the corner, I’ve been getting some rest before unleashing the content wave. The research doesn’t stop though, because there’s always something to discuss. The cold has been pretty mellow up until like a few days ago, so now I’m on a mission to find some cozy wear to lounge at home in. On top of that, there’s a bunch of new releases that you need to know about before it’s too late.
In today’s newsletter, we’re taking a look at some of my favorite basics that are worth buying to enhance your at-home lounging experience, one-of-a-kind patchwork cardigans that should be on your radar, first look at the upcoming drop from Manresa, a pair of shoes I need to track down for spring, and more!
AT HOME LOUNGING
As soon as I see the snow hitting the window, I’m immediately transformed into cozy mode that would require an army to get me out of my house. When we are talking about chilling at home, especially during the winter, then I’m instantly thinking of sweatsuits or anything that’s going to keep me feeling cozy throughout the day.
Now you can’t go wrong with any classic sweatpants or a hoodie combination, but there are specific brands out there that I think are doing a really good job at providing a proper level of comfort with good design in mind — because having a home fit is one thing, but it’s also nice to be able to run out the house with that same fit if needed.
Here are a couple of suggestions to get you started on your cozy journey:
DIME CLASSICS
If you’re looking for a good quality sweatsuit that comes in a variety of colors, has a pretty loose fit, and doesn’t break the bank in comparison to a lot of other brands out there, then the Dime Classics program is going to be a great contender this season. Get a hoodie and a matching pair of sweatpants and you’re set. There are also crewnecks, tees and a bunch of additional colors that I didn’t show you above that are worth checking out. Sizes do go up to XXL which is nice!
PALACE SWEATSUITS
Sticking in the realm of skating because skate brands know what it takes to lounge with steeze. Palace has its own line of sweatsuits that come in an array of colors and a looser fit in mind. They recently introduced a unisex sweatsuit line which comes in a much baggier fit, and while most of the bottoms are still up for grabs, the hoodies all ended up flying off the shelves — hopefully, we get a restock real soon because I’m interested in trying it myself.
BATHER FLEECE SWEATSUITS
If you’re looking for a more regular fitting, non-baggy sweatsuit then I’d suggest checking out the fleece program over at Bather. Perfect for those who are looking for something lighter, featuring a low pile, anti-pill fleece fabric that’s going to make a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe.
