Things have been busy here at SNL, so much so that I am starting to miss new releases that should be at the forefront of the newsletter. No stress though, because this week is about getting back to business with a highly curated recommendations list that will have your wallet spiralling out of control.

I NEED WAFFLES

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say this again—every person needs some waffle in their life. Whether it’s a shirt, tee, or shorts, everyone should have at least one waffle piece in their rotation. It’s a fun material that is great for layering, and majority of the time it’s great enough to wear on your own as the standout piece in your fit.

A Kind Of Guise has brought back its most wanted fabric in various garments for their newest collection. Used in shirts, shorts, bags and even hats, the waffle pieces come hot with 3 great colors: Lavender, Ginger, and Navy which are honestly all great in their own respective way. These are handmade in Italy using fabrics created in a traditional mill in Austria—so you know that quality is about to be crazy.

Honestly, I was going to just focus on those waffles, but the truth is AKOG’s newest collection has way more heat that deserve to be featured in today’s newsletter. Being one of the brands that I’m keeping a closer eye on this year, AKOG has continued to deliver amazingly fine garments and I’m excited to see where they take this brand throughout the year. BACK LIKE I NEVER LEFT

Merrell 1TRL had a strong start to the year with a bunch of general release heaters and some great collaborations, and now it’s time for them double down with their second round of SS23 footwear. There are way too many options to choose from, and luckily there are is still time left to make your decision, but definitely don’t wait too long or else those options will be gone.
